CYBER ACADEMY BRIEFINGS.
There is always something happening in Cyber Academy. Find out more and in time to make a difference!
What began as a step into the unknown became the defining turning point of my life and career. The Cyber Academy was not just where I transitioned from IT into cybersecurity, it was where I developed a new mindset. It taught me to think beyond the surface, to see beyond the picture, and to understand that cybersecurity is not only about systems and technology, but about vision, responsibility, and impact. It equipped me with strong technical skills that prepared me for real world cybersecurity challenges, but more importantly, it shaped my resilience, critical thinking, and confidence to lead. With the support of my mentor, who believed in my potential even in moments of doubt, I found the courage to grow, lead, and eventually help build the vision of Women4Cyber Kosovo, a community dedicated to empowering more women to step into cybersecurity fearlessly, just as I once did.
DRENUSHA SALIHU
Cybersecurity Specialist at CANCOM/VW FS (Founder & Head at Women4Cyber Kosovo)
My participation in Cyber Academy has been a highly valuable professional experience. The program has helped me deepen my knowledge in the field of cybersecurity, systems auditing, penetration testing, and modern information security practices. The practical training sessions, laboratories, and the professional approach of the instructors have directly contributed to my professional development and to the advancement of the skills that I use in my daily work, including security testing and technical system assessments at P.E. “Termokos” J.S.C.
SHEND GJONBALAJ
Head of IT Office / Software System Operator at P.E. “Termokos” J.S.C.
Through Cyber Academy I gained both technical knowledge and real-world mindset that continue to help me in my daily work. What makes Cyber Academy special is the opportunity to learn from pioneers of the cybersecurity industry, work on real-world scenarios, and gain practical experience from professionals with years of hands-on expertise.
Before joining Cyber Academy, I was starting from zero in cybersecurity. After one year of hard work, the academy gave me the structure, guidance, and practical experience I needed to build real skills and better understand the field. Through hands-on labs, real-world scenarios, and support from experienced instructors, I gained the confidence to take the next step in my career. Today, I work as a SOC Analyst at Sentry, and Cyber Academy played an important role in helping me reach that point. I would recommend Cyber Academy to anyone who wants to start a career in cybersecurity.
